We understand car valeting and cleaning innovation better than anyone. In our own laboratories, testing facilities and manufacturing site we strive to create the finest vehicle care products on the planet. By surrounding ourselves with forward thinking attitudes, as long as there's vehicles to clean, our team will never stop innovating.

Due to long standing members of the team retiring later this year, we are looking for two Procurement Assistants to join the Operations, based at our head office in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire. This is a permanent, full time role (working 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday) with the benefit of hybrid working (3 days a week in the office).

This role provides essential admin support to the Autoglym Procurement function, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials into the business. You'll manage daily MRP exception messages, expedite purchase orders, maintain accurate system data, and act as the first point of contact for supplier queries and non-conformances. Working closely with Planning, Design, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you'll oversee international shipping processes, maintain procurement documentation, resolve invoice and order queries, and support KPI reporting.

With a strong customer-service focus, you'll help drive process improvements and ensure all procurement activities are completed accurately, on time, and in line with Autoglym's values. We're looking for a proactive, organised individual with strong administrative experience and solid PC skills, including confident use of Excel. You'll bring excellent communication, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, along with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively. With a positive, can-do attitude, you'll be adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We're seeking someone who is self-motivated, a supportive team player, and who consistently works with integrity and respect.

As well as an exciting opportunity, what does Autoglym have to offer?

  • Holiday entitlement starts at 25 days (pro rata); if you need a little extra... you can buy some more.
  • A defined contribution pension scheme available for all staff.
  • Hopefully never needed, but from day one you will be covered by our life assurance scheme.
  • Occupational Sick Pay and an onsite Occupational Health Service.
  • Confidential 24-hour life management and personal support service for you and your family.
  • Free eye tests are available for all employees.
  • A paid day off each year to take part in our volunteering scheme.
  • Free car parking at all our sites.
  • Long service awards to all our employees.
  • Learning and Development - training and development support, no matter where you are in your career.
  • A variety of social events across the group, including the company Christmas party.

It might be a long way off but we know it's not always easy to stop working so we provide advice and support to ease the transition to retirement.

So who are Autoglym? We're a leading British manufacturer of premium vehicle care and valeting products.
