Overview
Trainee Technician - Windscreen Repair & Replacement – Leyton, London. Autoglass is recruiting for a Trainee Technician to join our team. You will be based in one of our branches or out in one of our fully equipped vans, delivering high standards of windscreen repair and replacement and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in repairing and replacing glass to the highest industry standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote value-added products (e.g., wipers and Rain Repel).
- Work with the team to ensure customers are cared for and operations run smoothly.
- Use state-of-the-art tools and equipment to lift and fit screens safely and confidently.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
- Self-motivated, good with people, and eager to learn; experience from any sector is welcome.
- Willingness to undergo training and development leading to recognised industry qualifications.
What we offer
- Minimum starting salary up to £30,496.26 for Inner London roles; annualised hours with shifts Mon-Sat (7:30am–6:00pm, rota provided in advance).
