Role Purpose & Summary
This role is part of the People Partnering team, providing professional, high-quality, and customer-focused advice for our People and Leaders across the full generalist HR remit. You will work autonomously and be a key point of contact for Leaders in supporting day-to-day operational and employee relations while driving improved Leadership capability.
Responsibilities
- Act as an initial point of contact, providing advice to Leaders and Colleagues on a variety of people-related matters across the employee life cycle.
- Proactively manage Policies, Procedures, Guidance, and Templates to ensure compliance with government legislation.
- Support the People Business Partnering team with the delivery of the People agenda and key projects.
- Manage Employee Relations in a positive manner, working in partnership with relevant Leaders.
- Assist with the production and analysis of People Metrics and providing insight.
- Ensure integrity of the people data within Workday, flagging inaccuracies to the relevant leader.
- Identify ways to improve processes and policies to enhance the people experience.
- Monitor external HR best practices and suggest improvements in line with our ambitions.
Skills And Experience
- Previous experience of working autonomously within a commercially focused People environment.
- Deep knowledge of UK Employment Law, legislation, and People Practices/Policies.
- Experience in advising and coaching across different levels of Leadership.
- Passionate about quality and standards within the People context.
- Ability to make sound judgements and decisions balancing business needs with legislation.
- Ability to translate technical information clearly and concisely.
