Join AutogenAI – Revolutionising Bid and Proposal Writing. We’re looking for a Product Designer (Mid - Senior) to shape the next generation of our end to end AI proposal platform, from problem discovery through to polished interfaces. You’ll work across UX and UI, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to define how users collaborate with AI in their day‑to‑day workflows. This is a hands‑on role with room to grow into more strategic ownership as you demonstrate impact. This is a hybrid role (two days per week in our London office).
What You’ll Do
- Turn problems into product: Partner with Product and Engineering to define user problems, explore solution spaces, and translate them into clear flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design AI‑assisted workflows: Craft interaction patterns that help users co‑write with AI, feel in control, and understand what the system is doing and why.
- End‑to‑end journeys: Take features from discovery to final UI, iterating through research, testing, and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Elevate craft and consistency: Contribute to and evolve our design system so experiences feel coherent, accessible, and visually refined.
- Advocate for users: Run or support research and usability sessions with customers and internal users; bring insights back into product decisions.
- Collaborate to ship: Work closely with engineers on implementation details, edge cases, and QA to ensure what we ship matches the intent of the design.
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience as a Product Designer working on web‑based SaaS products, ideally in B2B settings.
- A portfolio that shows strong UX thinking, clear problem framing, and high‑quality, production‑ready UI for complex, multi-step workflows.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with modern design and prototyping practices.
- Comfort working in a fast‑moving environment, breaking down complex workflows into simple, usable experiences.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain your decisions, collaborate openly, and give and receive feedback.
- Genuine interest in how AI can augment human work, and curiosity about designing for AI‑driven experiences.
- Exposure to AI‑powered products and the nuances of designing for trust and explainability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with text‑heavy tools, document editors, or collaboration software.
- Background in enterprise, compliance‑heavy, or proposal/bid workflows.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and designing for diverse users.
Why Join Us
- Shape a category‑defining product that changes how teams win work, not just how they write documents.
- Work with a high‑calibre, mission‑driven team across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Competitive salary, equity, and benefits, including unlimited holiday, hybrid working, regular team retreats, and a home office allowance.
- Autonomy, ownership, and the chance to meaningfully influence how design is done and valued at AutogenAI.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Salary: £55-75k for Mid and £75-90k for Senior depending on experience and level.
- Stock Options: Meaningful equity in the company.
- Retirement Plan: Pension scheme to help secure your future.
- Paid Time Off: Unlimited vacation.
- Flexible Work Options: This is a hybrid role (two days per week in our London office).
- Private Healthcare: Bupa Medical and Dental cover.
- Life Insurance: Peace of mind for you and your family.
- Paid parental leave: 16 weeks if you’ve just given birth, 4 weeks if your partner has just given birth (after one year of service).
Values in Action
- Customers, Always: Everything starts with our customers. We walk in their shoes, speak their language, and build for their delight and success.
- Make It Happen: We move fast and take ownership. No waiting, no red tape – just action, urgency, and focus on outcomes.
- Learn and Invent: We stay curious. We learn what we can from past masters - and make up the rest.
- Act Like Owners: Titles don’t solve problems - people do. We own challenges, break the rules when it’s necessary, and focus on what matters.
- Turn It Up to 11: There is no “Good enough”. We raise the bar, push boundaries, and keep building.
- Lead With Respect: We listen first, speak honestly, and value every perspective.
- Build Trust Through Transparency: We default to openness. We give feedback, share information, and assume positive intent.
