Groundworker/Landscaper wanted for a friendly, growing, well-established company based near Royston, Herts. Good "all rounder" wanted. Must have some experience in a similar trade (hard landscaping/fencing/groundworks). The job involves a range of duties, such as:

  • Digging holes
  • Installing posts
  • Cabling
  • Trenching
  • Making good
  • Other tasks associated with installing new and replacement gates/posts/parts

Will mostly be part of a two-man team but also have the ability to work on your own. In time, and depending on ability, may get involved in fitting the automation, safety elements and ancillary parts.

Must be a very practical person and experienced with power tools such as breaker, cut-off saw, angle grinder. Knowledge of working with metal/wood/electrics is also useful in this job, but not essential.

We are a well-established, friendly, family-oriented company. We install, service and maintain automated gates and entry systems. There will be early starts so we're on site before the rush hour kicks in - our sites can range from local jobs to approximately 1 hour's drive from our base at SG8 0NZ (you need to live no more than a 30-minute drive from here). Please note that our team starts early, so punctuality is crucial. It's a standard 40-hour week, Mon - Fri with travel time paid after the first 30 minutes driving.
