Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join our team in Oxfordshire in on-site capacity, combining office-based collaboration with flexible work hours and fully compensated travel. In this role, you will design and develop software for cutting-edge robotics systems, lead the implementation of object-oriented programming solutions, and contribute to the integration of intelligent robotic applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring software reliability and performance, and solving complex programming challenges. You will also mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic technical decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in related role.
- Preferably over 6 years experience in related role.
- Preferably some team leadership experience but we are looking for people happy in software development role.
- Experience with AI tools.
- Proficiency in Programming, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Expertise in Computer Science principles and problem-solving.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and system integration.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Experience working with robotics systems, preferably in field robotics.
