Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • In this role, you will contribute to Autodesk’s Executive Engagement program, with primary responsibility for designing and delivering high‑impact executive events that strengthen relationships between Autodesk leaders and senior customer decision makers.
  • In addition, you will help shape a broader executive engagement strategy, ensuring these interactions are coordinated with account priorities and other customer engagement activities across Autodesk.
  • You will work closely with Sales, Account Based Marketing, Customer Success, Industry Strategy, Executive Staff, and other stakeholder teams to identify opportunities to deepen executive relationships, create meaningful customer experiences, and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • From planning through execution and measurement, you will oversee programs that build trust, accelerate strategic conversations, and increase customer loyalty.
  • You combine executive event management expertise with strong programme management, relationship‑building, communication, and operational skills.
  • You are a self‑starter who can navigate complex organizations, influence senior stakeholders, and connect activities to measurable business outcomes.
  • You should be highly adaptable, strategic, and capable of operating effectively in fast‑paced environments while interfacing with leadership teams and executives across Autodesk and customer organizations.
  • You will report to the Senior Director, Enterprise Marketing.
  • We support hybrid working with no minimum office‑day requirement.
  • Build high‑value experiences for selected clients and their top executives, with a focus on marketing engagement measurement, optimisation and operational excellence.
  • Drive innovative in‑person experiences with a focus on building relationships at the executive level.
  • Develop and manage work‑back plan and cross‑functional timelines, detailed project plans, and workstream requirements, acting as the source of truth for all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage strategy and execution and logistics—including budgeting and financial management, venue, agency, scheduling, speaker preparation, contracts, vendors, deliverables tracking, food and beverage, etc.
  • Drive all cross‑functional project workstreams to successful execution, track cross‑functional deliverables and escape when necessary.
  • Develop and foster stakeholder trust by initiating and nurturing partnerships and delivering consistent subject‑matter expertise.
  • Effectively manage resources and priorities to deliver against competing projects. Identify and problem‑solve resourcing risks.
  • Optimize the event infrastructure by designing and strengthening operational, analytical, and financial processes, in partnership with the Sr. Manager, Global Executive Engagement Programs.
  • Demonstrate measurable business impact based on the goals outlined for each experience. Use post‑event data to inform recommendations for future events.
  • The primary focus of this role will be within EMEA and the United States while you will liaise with your colleagues globally.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% globally and potentially over weekends.
  • Proven experience in event programme management tactics, including development of work‑back plans and timelines, budgets, briefs, end‑to‑end project plans, etc.
  • Strong project and programme management experience with emphasis on setting goals, budgets, and timelines, mitigating risks, and managing delivery through multiple partners and dependencies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in end‑to‑end event project management and marketing to executive‑level internal and external board members.
