In this Technical Sales role, you will partner with and inspire our strategic AECO customers helping them realise their full potential. Partnering closely with the Enterprise Account Executive and our Enterprise Customer organisation, you will build and nurture long-term customer relationships by gaining a clear understanding of our customers’ business strategy and challenges. You will translate these into a Technical Vision that guides the accounts technical strategy fuelling Customer Outcome Proposals that will deliver tangible results to both the customer and Autodesk.

We support hybrid or remote working, and you will report to the Senior Technical Sales Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Discovery: Lead discovery sessions to understand customer systems, workflows, pain points, and objectives. Translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Customer Technical Vision (CTV): Develop and maintain a strategic technical roadmap for each account, ensuring alignment between customer goals and Autodesk capabilities.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and define tailored technical solutions that demonstrate ROI and align with customer business initiatives.
  • Technical Orchestration: Coordinate and lead technical specialists to deliver demos, benchmarks, evaluations, and ROI modelling.
  • Building Trust: Establish credibility through consistent delivery, accurate information, and solution-oriented engagement.
  • Technical Relationships: Cultivate long-term technical partnerships with customers to support ongoing success and innovation.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives (AEs) to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and co-develop customer success plans.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead and mentor resolution of complex technical issues escalated by Customer Success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree, education or equivalent work experience in AECO or Data and Platform solutions.
  • You have > 8 years experience in customer-facing roles.
  • You have fluent English, an additional European language would be a benefit.
  • Ideally you have knowledge of the Autodesk solution portfolio (AECO – Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Operations).
  • You have an outcome-focused approach to solving customer challenges.
  • You are experienced or interested in a sales-supporting function (e.g., presales).
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • You enjoy working as a team player, who can manage multiple priorities.
  • You can travel up to 20% within the EMEA region.
