As Manager, Emerging Technologies Sales – Water, you will guide and support a medium‑sized sales team focused on expanding the adoption and sustainable growth of innovative water technology solutions (AWI). You will work closely with associate managers, team leads, and senior sales professionals to translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans that enable consistent and meaningful business outcomes. This role involves shaping our go‑to‑market approach, nurturing customer and partner relationships, and building scalable, collaborative sales practices aligned with our long‑term vision. You will report to the Senior Manager, Water, EMEA. We offer hybrid contracts with no minimum office days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide, coach, and develop Sales Specialists and frontline sales leaders to help them achieve shared sales goals and grow in their careers.
  • Enable your team to have meaningful technical conversations with colleagues and customers regarding water infrastructure products and solutions.
  • Create and implement medium to long‑term operational plans that support financial health, thoughtful resourcing, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Maintain a healthy and balanced pipeline through proactive planning, clear prioritisation, and supportive performance conversations.
  • Facilitate team‑based selling by partnering Sales Specialists with sales development, technical, partner, and customer success teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
  • Encourage cross‑regional collaboration for complex or multinational customers, sharing insights and aligning on best practices.
  • Cultivate strong relationships between sellers and partners to co‑create meaningful, high‑value customer solutions.
  • Partner closely with marketing to support demand generation, new customer engagement, and account growth.
  • Work collaboratively with customer success and renewal teams to ensure customers reach key milestones and experience long‑term value and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience guiding and developing sales professionals within a B2B or technology‑focused environment with a technical background in the water industry.
  • Deep knowledge of water infrastructure engineering, enabling you to engage confidently in detailed technical discussions with colleagues and customers and support effective use of AWI software in real‑world environments.
  • Experience delivering consistent sales results through team enablement, including responsibility for forecasting and pipeline visibility.
  • Experience working in consultative sales environments involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into clear, practical operational plans.
  • Collaborative approach, with experience partnering across marketing, customer success, technical sales, and partner organisations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with emerging or innovative technology solutions and supporting their introduction to market.
  • Experience in enterprise or mid‑market B2B environments, including subscription or SaaS business models.
  • Enjoy working within partner ecosystems, co‑sell environments, or indirect sales models.
  • Experience in supporting organisational change, helping teams grow, or establishing new ways of working in evolving markets.
