We are searching for a strong Growth-focused Software Engineer to join our Product Growth team driving user product adoption, engagement, and monetisation for our next-generation, AI-powered architecture design product, Forma.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth: design, build, and deploy experiments aimed at improving user adoption and engagement as well as early self-serve monetisation experiments.
- Execute rapid experimentation: formulate hypotheses and execute A/B tests at a high velocity, building minimum viable features to validate ideas quickly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: work seamlessly with Product Managers, Designers, Data Analysts, and Marketing to identify growth bottlenecks and brainstorm innovative, high-impact solutions.
- Make data-driven decisions: analyse experiment results and user data to uncover hidden insights, constantly asking "why" to understand user behaviour and inform decisions.
- Practice pragmatic engineering: make smart trade‐offs between engineering perfection and speed to market, handling edge cases pragmatically.
- Leverage AI to multiply output: use modern AI tools to accelerate workflow, stepping outside traditional engineering boundaries to assist with lightweight product management, data analysis, and design tasks to get experiments live faster.
The Ideal Candidate
- Growth mindset & commercial bias: care deeply about the business impact of work, breaking complex tasks into smaller, actionable pieces.
- AI-accelerated generalist: comfortable using AI to multiply output and assist with lightweight product management and design tasks.
- Self‐starter with infinite curiosity: proactive about developing hypotheses and experiments, not waiting for a rigid roadmap.
- Resilient to lost code: comfortable with experimentation and discarding code without ego.
- Comfortable with unscalable solutions: pragmatic approach to validate ideas quickly rather than building highly scalable but unproven features.
- Product‐minded communicator: strong product instincts, able to articulate "why" behind technical choices to non‐technical stakeholders.
- Code all‐rounder: experience with multiple languages and technologies, including modern front‐end frameworks, large‐scale systems, and cloud computing.
Qualifications
- Experience with data‐driven development, A/B testing methodologies, and iterating based on user behaviour data.
- Interest in conversion optimisation, user journey analysis, and driving impact aligned with mission.
- Experience across modern front‐end frameworks, large‐scale systems, and cloud computing.
- Comfort using modern AI tools to accelerate workflow across engineering, product, and design tasks.
