As a Pre-Sales Account Technical Lead you embrace new ideas and challenge the way things are done. You are open to learning and staying on top of product and industry changes, and able to collaborate within teams. If you are passionate about technology, accomplished at translating customer business needs into workflows and solution architecture, and have Autodesk product and domain knowledge, you will be excited by this role. Working in a hybrid environment, and reporting into the Northern Europe Account Technical Leads Director, you will work with Autodesk in a pre‑sales capacity, using your practical skills and technical vision to promote the value of Autodesk solutions to Public Sector customers as a trusted technical strategist.
Responsibilities
- Discover customer needs and provide Autodesk solution advice and ROI illustrations aligned to them
- Build trust and credibility with customers to support the development of strategic technical roadmaps
- Deliver technical presentations at customer-facing events, meetings and webinars
- Coordinate technical resources from extended teams
- Collaborate with sales executives to identify potential for revenue growth
- Provide feedback to Product teams to improve Autodesk solutions
- Develop technical content for use in pre-sales activities and sales automation
- Promote Autodesk solutions and build an industry profile as a recognised technical expert
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Autodesk Forma would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling and Common Data Environment/Information Management concepts (E.g. ISO 19650:2&3)
- Knowledge of Asset Data structures and workflows is desirable (E.g. CFIHOS, COBie)
- Knowledge of UK Public Sector or Utility Owner Operator industries is desirable
- Knowledge of Enterprise IT concepts is desirable
- Experience in the UK Construction Industry (Design, Engineering, Contracting or Operations)
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills through a variety of mediums
We ask that you travel within the UK and Republic of Ireland, with some occasional travel to other global locations.
