We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Community Lead, with a deep connection to the architecture community, who will spearhead our community marketing efforts across the UK and US. You'll lead a growing team of Community Managers and Program Managers, while also directly engaging with the architecture community to spark and amplify conversations about Forma Site Design, Forma Building Design and future offerings. You'll be responsible for building a community engine that drives awareness, credibility, and adoption - both online and at key industry events. You'll work closely with Product, Growth, and Content teams to ensure community insights shape our roadmap and messaging. You'll nurture a team that thrives on ownership - people who want to stretch across the entire role of community marketing: from shaping narratives and engaging users to driving strategy and measuring impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a distributed Community team, fostering a supportive and high-performing culture
  • Develop and execute a growth-led community strategy grounded in data, experimentation, and user insights
  • Build and scale the Forma content creators program, empowering users to become advocates and content creators
  • Spark, participate in, and amplify discussions across LinkedIn, Reddit, Archinect, and associated forums - with a focus on the UK market
  • Represent Forma at key architecture events and conferences, building relationships and driving engagement
  • Ensure cross organization alignment so that feedback from the community influences product roadmap decisions
  • Stay ahead of trends in community marketing, architecture, and AI to inform strategy and innovation
  • Present community impact and strategy to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Deep network and credibility within the architecture community
  • Proven experience leading teams, ideally across multiple geographies
  • Comfortable with ownership - taking ideas from concept to execution, and thriving when you're trusted to drive outcomes across the full community marketing toolkit
  • Someone who sees blockers as easily overcome. Comfortable working internally to remove blockers and improve team velocity
  • Strong strategic thinking and executional rigor - you know how to build and scale programs that deliver measurable impact.
  • Be able to demonstrate that you can build a strategy focused around building online communities
  • Experience applying AI tools in marketing or community workflows
  • Excellent communication skills - you're a natural storyteller and connector. Comfortable presenting to leaders internally, and peers in the industry externally
  • Adept at social media and creating engaging content
  • Technically proficient with a range of Architecture software, Microsoft Office Suite, and, ideally Copilot, Slack, Teams, Zoom.
  • Quick to learn new tools
  • Ideally have basic video editing skills
  • Ideally comfortable with experimentation and learning fast from data
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Forma (especially Forma Site Design) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel for events and team offsites
