The predicted salary is between 49500 - 60500 £ per year.

Sales position, you will work with overlay specialist teams plus inside sales, partner management, channel partners, account-based marketing teams and other field sales colleagues to develop, lead and execute Autodesk’s strategy for selling to Public Sector / Government clients in UK and Irish region.

The candidate will report directly to the Director, Public Sector EMEA.

You will report to the Director, Account Executive, Expansion.

We offer hybrid contracts with no minimum office days.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate new business by creatively expanding existing accounts and proactively owning renewals in key accounts.
  • Evaluate and prepare a UK&I Public Sector business plan covering assigned accounts.

This involves evaluating the market conditions, customer profiles and identifying key steps needed to create business value to customers.

  • Execute business plan and lead internal team to develop effective relationships within customer base including key executives and translate customer challenges into unique business value.
  • Manage accounts through an entire sales process; outside field sales position, physically at customer locations to drive business development, prospecting, and specifications through to contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
  • Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly forecast of business Partner collaboratively with channel partners to understand their business, creatively adopt programs to drive new revenue, and expand business partner relationships.
  • Represent the UK&I Public Sector business internally at Autodesk, providing regular customer feedback to the product, industry & strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas of improvement.
  • Negotiate deals and contracts at different levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on ‘Head of department / C-Level’ and enterprise level negotiations.
  • Be a Trusted Adviser for customers and identify win/win situations and develop success reference stories.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Public Sector sales experience carrying a quota offering complex business solutions.
  • Local authority and NHS experience consider a plus.
  • Strong sales process/methodology and account planning skills with demonstrated ability to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts.
  • Proven track record in sales execution including presentations, negotiations, and closing deals and ability to engage at C-Level/Head of department.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience leading internal account teams.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and across US/Europe for internal meetings on a quarterly basis.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Autodesk products or comparable technology solutions.
  • Understanding of Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Experience working through channel/partners teams.

To support Autodesk’s progress in the Public Sector, we are recruiting for a new Sales Executive position to join the UK team who will manage client relationships to expand new business and renewals in key accounts against financial and business objectives.

Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
