Supply Chain Apprentice
Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire
Salary: Above Average Apprenticeship Rate
Contract: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Join Autochair the UK s leading manufacturer of vehicle adaptations for people with disabilities or mobility issues. Our recently expanded manufacturing facility in Derbyshire is set to increase production capacity significantly, and we re looking for a talented and ambitious apprentice to grow with us.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing operations to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification.
The Role
Working closely with our Production Planning Specialists and Sales team, your apprenticeship will be tailored to your development needs and include a variety of key activities such as:
- Managing the daily sales orders spreadsheet to coordinate production and dispatch
- Creating warehouse shipments and picks for customer orders
- Flagging stock issues through the warehouse pick process
- Monitoring sales order lead times and highlighting potential delays
- Communicating stock availability updates to the Sales team
- Closing out production orders and updating inventory in the system
- Raising manual production orders for build-on-demand items
- Ensuring that sales orders are dispatched from the shop floor
- Supporting the wider production planning team with additional tasks
What We\’re Looking For
- A strong standard of verbal and written communication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Outlook)
- Education to AS Level (or equivalent) or higher
- Organised, logical, and calm under pressure
- Motivated, team-oriented and eager to learn
- A proactive mindset with a desire to build a lasting career in operations

- Candidates must be able to commute to our Alfreton facility with ease
