ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Lead Architect to join us and help build an integrated architectural function in Autocab. The focus is initially on technical design but will grow to work functionally with and on solutions for the wider business as Autocab continues to grow in a global marketplace. As Autocab continues to scale and modernise its core platform there is a need to grow and expand the architectural design and governance of the platform. With complexity comes the need to define, design and work with the Software Engineers on delivery to ensure the platform is fit for the future and is scalable today. As the team grows so will the architectural function, which you will lead, working in a matrix management way – where the role will lead a community of practice in architecture with the team embedded in the Product teams.

What does the opportunity look like day‑to‑day?
- Part of the Engineering Team: The first task is to drive the design for the next generation of the relevant parts of our platform. This means moving parts of the platform’s functionality from the existing hosting mechanism to a new more modern architecture.
- Continue to guide the Product.
You will need to:
