We are seeking a skilled technician specialising in ADAS Calibration, diagnostics and telematics systems. You will ensure vehicles meet OEM specifications for safety and connectivity by performing accurate calibration, diagnostics and telematics installations or troubleshooting. The role is critical for restoring vehicle functionality after automotive glass replacement/repairs and maintaining road safety. The role supports both remote and on-site operations, delivering high quality technical service, maintaining vehicle safety and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex electronic and sensor‑related issues.
  • Use OEM or aftermarket diagnostic tools to identify and resolve ADAS related faults.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of calibration steps, pre/post scan reports, photos for insurance and liability purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturer procedures and industry standards (BSI 10125).
  • Explain calibration results and any detected faults to customers clearly and professionally.
  • Provide guidance on next steps if calibration cannot be completed due to unresolved issues.
  • Follow strict safety protocols when handling calibration devices and lasers.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring it is updated and stored correctly to avoid damage or obstruction.
  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibration tasks using OEM‑approved tools and software.
  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibration tasks using Hella Gutman equipment.
  • Conduct pre and post diagnostic scans to identify faults and confirm successful calibration.
  • Verify system performance through test drives and quality checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, ADAS systems and telematics technology.
  • Ability to use diagnostic and telematics software effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Automotive, diagnostics, ADAS & mechanical experience would be advantageous but is not essential; training will be provided and you will work towards IMI ADAS Accreditation (AOM230) and telematics training.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A full valid UK driving licence.
