Senior Vehicle Technician Join an Established Independent Workshop

We're looking for an experienced *Senior Vehicle Technician* to join our busy, well-equipped independent workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles.

*The Role*

As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and fault-finding across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. You'll work to the highest standards while supporting the workshop team and helping maintain our excellent reputation for customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards
* Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently
* Inspect vehicles and advise on any additional work required
* Complete accurate job records and paperwork
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Deliver work of the highest quality with excellent attention to detail

*About You*

You'll be an experienced technician who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in producing quality work.

Essential

* Minimum *5 years' experience* as a Vehicle Technician
* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Experience with electrical and electronic vehicle systems
* Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop software
* Experience working across multiple vehicle makes and models
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Full UK driving licence

Desirable

* NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
* Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
