THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs and maintenance operations accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
- Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
- Working closely with Service Advisors and other workshop colleagues
- Maintaining high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
- Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
- MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
- Own tools and toolbox
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
