The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you'll support the Parts Manager with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Parts Department while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Parts Manager with daily department operations
- Supplying parts to the workshop and retail customers
- Ordering, receiving and booking in vehicle parts
- Maintaining accurate stock control and stock locations
- Processing returns and resolving stock discrepancies
- Answering customer enquiries by telephone and email
- Ensuring all customer orders are processed promptly and accurately
- Completing all administration and documentation to a high standard
- Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Senior Parts Advisor or experienced Parts Advisor within a franchised dealership
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and stock control
- Experience using a Dealer Management System (Kerridge, Pinnacle, 1Link or similar)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
