The Role

As an

MET Technician / Strip Fitter , you'll be responsible for dismantling, repairing and reassembling accident‑damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications.

You'll play a key role in ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Strip and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident‑damaged vehicles.
  • Carry out repairs using manufacturer‑approved repair methods.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults where required.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Work efficiently within a busy, fast‑paced accident repair centre.
  • Collaborate with Panel Beaters and Paint Sprayers to maintain an efficient repair process.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as an
  • MET Technician ,
  • Strip Fitter or

Bodyshop Technician within a busy accident repair centre.

  • Recognised apprenticeship with an

NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA or equivalent qualification.

  • Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • High attention to detail with pride in producing quality workmanship.
  • Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and excellent team‑working skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards.

£35,000 Basic Salary.
