The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring all work is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work efficiently
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Completing repairs and assembly operations to manufacturer standards
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and safety guidelines
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
- Providing excellent technical support and customer advice where required
- Working collaboratively to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
- MOT Licence desirable but not essential
- Must own your own tools and toolbox
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence required (subject to licence checks)
- Right to work in the UK is essential - sponsorship is not available
- A positive team player with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
