Talented and efficient Wheel Repair Technician to join this leading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for refurbishing and repairing alloy wheels to a high standard, delivering excellent workmanship within set time-scales while supporting the wider body shop team.
Responsibilities of a Wheel Repair Technician:
- Refurbishing alloy wheels to a high-quality finish
- Carrying out cosmetic, painted, diamond cut and special effect wheel repairs
- Removing and refitting vehicle wheels, ensuring all safety standards are met
- Wheel painting and powder coating
- Lifting wheels into dipping tanks and moving wheels between repair stations
- Using CNC/Lathe machinery for diamond cut repairs
- Repairing wheel damage and preparing wheels for refinishing
- Tyre fitting and wheel balancing where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Completing all work within allocated time-scales and quality standards
Skills and Qualifications of a Wheel Repair Technician:
- Relevant City & Guilds qualification
- Previous experience in a Wheel Repair Technician or similar repair role
