THE ROLE
As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repair work while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
- Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues
- Supporting fellow technicians with technical guidance when required
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
- Delivering excellent customer satisfaction through first-time fix quality
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician within the automotive industry
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Experience using modern manufacturer diagnostic equipment
- A genuine desire to continue learning and progressing within the industry
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
