Key responsibilities include: ·Assessing damaged commercial vehicle bodies and identifying the appropriate repair methods. ·Repairing, replacing, and refitting damaged panels and body components. ·Carrying out straightening, alignment, and structural repair work using suitable specialist equipment. ·Working across a range of commercial vehicle bodies and repair requirements. ·Ensuring completed repairs meet the required quality and safety standards. ·Working closely with Commercial Paint Sprayers and other workshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process. ·Completing allocated repairs within agreed timescales without compromising workmanship. ·Maintaining tools, equipment, and the workshop area to a safe and professional standard. ABOUT YOU This opportunity would suit an experienced Commercial Panel Beater / Commercial Panel Technician / HGV Panel Beater / Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician / Body Repair Technician with a strong background in commercial vehicle repair. You'll ideally have: ·Previous experience as a Panel Beater within a commercial vehicle, HGV, bodyshop, or accident repair environment. ·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development. ·Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle body repair and restoration techniques. ·Experience repairing and replacing damaged panels and structural components. ·The ability to work on a variety of commercial vehicle bodies. ·Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship. ·The ability to work independently and as part of a skilled workshop team. ·A full UK driving licence.
