Key responsibilities include: ·Preparing commercial vehicle surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, filling, masking, and priming. ·Mixing and applying paint using appropriate spray equipment and techniques. ·Carrying out colour matching, blending, and refinishing work to achieve consistent results. ·Inspecting surfaces before and after painting and rectifying imperfections where necessary. ·Working closely with Commercial Panel Beaters and other workshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process. ·Completing paint repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent workmanship. ·Following all relevant health and safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and workshop equipment. ·Maintaining spray equipment, tools, and the working area in a clean and professional condition. ABOUT YOU This opportunity would suit an experienced Commercial Paint Sprayer / Commercial Paint Technician / Commercial Vehicle Painter / Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher with proven experience within commercial vehicle repair. You'll ideally have: ·Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer or Paint Technician within a commercial vehicle, HGV, bodyshop, or accident repair environment.   ·Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development. ·Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle paint systems and refinishing techniques. ·Experience with preparation, colour matching, blending, and paint application. ·Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes. ·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards. ·Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a skilled team. ·A full UK driving licence.
