THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repair work while ensuring all vehicles are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections
- Identifying wear, damage and additional work required
- Completing repairs in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Control
- Providing technical support and guidance to other Technicians
- Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop documentation
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone with:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Experienced Level 2 qualified Technicians with a dealership background are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- A thorough understanding of vehicle safety and repair standards
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent workmanship
- A current MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
