My client is a logistics provider specialising in bulk transport and the provision of on-site logistics and cask storage. They have an established history of 60 years within the transport industry, providing our customers with the perfect blend of quality and service.
We currently have a vacancy for a Welder/Fabricator to join our busy Springburn Depot.
Shift Options:
- 45 Hour Week
- Monday to Thursday 07:00am to 19:00pm (2 weeks)
- Wednesday to Saturday 07:00am to 19:00pm (2 weeks)
Average Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime
The Welder/Fabricator Role:
- Body Repairs & Fabrication
- Strip/fit & Prepping
- Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
- Experience working with Aluminium
- Duties to include the use of hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, MIG welders, and Oxy - Acetylene torches.
Requirements:
- Skilled in MiG welding
- The ability to do prep work and any strip / fitting will be favourable
- Experience working on Commercial Vehicles / Trailers would be a distinct advantage for this role
- Experience Oxy Acetylene Welding
- Working with mild steel / stainless may be required
