Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Sunday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
- Weekend working on a rota basis
We are currently recruiting for an EXPERIENCED and driven Used Car Sales Manager to join a successful and high-performing dealership in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to support the leadership team and drive performance across a busy used car department.
The Role
As Used Car Sales Manager, you will play a key role in maximising sales performance, profitability, and team development. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure the department operates efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service and maintaining full compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, lead and develop a team of Sales Executives to achieve and exceed targets
- Drive sales performance across vehicles, finance, insurance products and add-ons
- Structure deals effectively to maximise profitability while maintaining compliance
- Ensure all sales processes are followed consistently across the team
- Manage and follow up customer enquiries, test drives and hot leads in a timely manner
- Maintain full compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
- Oversee finance proposals and ensure all documentation is completed accurately
- Build and maintain strong relationships with finance providers and key stakeholders
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high CSI standards
- Support senior management and deputise when required
Requirements
- Proven experience within automotive sales, ideally in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of finance and insurance (F&I) products
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Target-driven with a commercial mindset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
