The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Timing belt and timing chain replacements
- Completing vehicle inspections and health checks
- Carrying out general mechanical repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining accurate workshop documentation
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and efficient
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Car Mechanic
- Strong servicing and diagnostic skills
- MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
