We are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a busy, well-established main car dealership in Tiptree. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable, Monday-Friday role with strong earning potential and a professional workshop environment. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards while delivering a high level of workmanship and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles
- Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
- Complete repair and service work efficiently and to a high standard
- Follow manufacturer and dealership processes at all times
- Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards
- Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
- Provide clear technical feedback and customer advice when required
Skills & Qualifications Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) - essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
- Previous dealership or independent garage experience preferred
- MOT Licence - desirable but not essential
- Own tools and toolbox
- Full UK manual driving licence (licence checks will be carried out)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
