The Role

As a Panel Beater, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out high-quality panel repairs on a variety of vehicles.
  • Removing, repairing and replacing damaged body panels.
  • Using specialist repair equipment and techniques to restore vehicles.
  • Realigning chassis and body components where required.
  • Working closely with Paint Technicians and MET Technicians to ensure a smooth repair process.
  • Identifying any additional damage during repairs and reporting findings.
  • Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

About You

You'll be a skilled and motivated Panel Beater who enjoys delivering first-class workmanship and working as part of a professional Bodyshop team.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair Technician.
  • Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body repair techniques.
  • The ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using body alignment and repair equipment.
  • A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
  • The ability to manage your workload effectively in a busy environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
