THE ROLE
As a Bodyshop Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and panels for the paint process, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Prepare vehicles and panels ready for painting
- Carry out sanding, filling and surface preparation
- Mask vehicles and components accurately
- Ensure surfaces are prepared to the required standard
- Support Paint Sprayers with preparation and refinishing work
- Complete work efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and workmanship
ABOUT YOU
- NVQ, ATA or equivalent qualification in vehicle refinishing/body repair
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Paint Prepper
- Proven experience within an automotive Bodyshop environment
- Strong vehicle preparation and refinishing skills
- Good understanding of modern paint preparation processes
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team
