The Role

As a Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the workshop operates efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming customers and discussing their servicing and repair requirements
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing repair schedules
  • Liaising with technicians throughout the repair process
  • Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and obtaining repair authorisations
  • Preparing accurate repair orders and invoices
  • Promoting additional products and services where appropriate
  • Delivering outstanding customer service from vehicle drop-off through to collection
  • Building long-lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Automotive experience is highly desirable, although candidates with strong customer service experience looking to move into the motor trade may also be considered.
