The Role
- Servicing & Repairs: Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and safely.
- Vehicle Inspections: Complete vehicle health checks and report additional work required.
- Diagnostics: Perform basic mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.
- PDI Work: Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
- Accessories & Repairs: Fit accessories and complete authorised repair work.
- Warranty Work: Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Road Testing: Test vehicles following repair work to ensure faults are rectified.
- Documentation: Complete all job cards and paperwork accurately and professionally.
What We Need From You
- Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy workshop.
- Motivation: Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Desirable Skills: Diagnostic, MOT, and EV experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
