Salary: Basic Salary & OTE Up to £41,230 Uncapped

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week | Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently
  • Completing vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing manufacturer warranty repairs in line with required standards
  • Carrying out authorised repair work following customer approval
  • Road testing vehicles following repairs where required
  • Completing all workshop documentation accurately and professionally
  • Working collaboratively to maximise workshop efficiency and productivity

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is essential
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
  • Main dealer or independent garage experience considered
  • Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • Diagnostic, MOT and EV/Hybrid experience advantageous but not essential
  • A positive team player with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to continue learning and developing
