Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic looking for a role offering an excellent work-life balance and strong earning potential? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy automotive workshop working a unique 3 days on shift pattern. With a basic salary of £35,000, and the opportunity to earn up to £750 per month in productivity bonus, this role offers excellent earning potential alongside an attractive working pattern.

Hours: 6:00am to 7:30pm with 1-hour lunch break

The rota operates on a rolling basis:

  • 4 weeks: Monday to Wednesday
  • Followed by 4 weeks: Thursday to Saturday

This gives you regular extended periods away from work and a fantastic work-life balance.

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
  • Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Working in line with manufacturer and safety standards
  • Maintaining high levels of quality and productivity
  • Ensuring your work area remains clean, organised and safe

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician with:

  • Previous experience working within the automotive industry
  • A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
  • The ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A full UK Driving Licence
