The Role

As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of servicing, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work efficiently
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Completing vehicle health checks in line with manufacturer processes
  • Carrying out manufacturer warranty repairs to required standards
  • Maintaining the highest levels of technical knowledge and workmanship
  • Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
  • Working towards productivity and efficiency targets while maintaining quality standards

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
  • Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
  • MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential
  • Previous main dealer experience beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and professional attitude
