THE ROLE As a Mobile SMART Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out cosmetic vehicle repairs across dealership locations in Reading. You will use your technical skills and fully equipped van to deliver high-quality repairs, helping maintain vehicle presentation and preparing vehicles to meet dealership standards. Your responsibilities will include: ·Carrying out SMART repairs to vehicle bodywork and paintwork. ·Repairing minor scratches, scuffs, dents and cosmetic damage. ·Performing localised paint repairs and refinishing. ·Preparing damaged areas through sanding, filling and masking. ·Colour matching and applying paint finishes to achieve quality results. ·Carrying out alloy wheel refurbishment and interior cosmetic repairs where required. ·Managing repair workloads across dealership locations. ·Maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency and customer service. ABOUT YOU ·Previous experience working as a SMART Repair Technician within the automotive repair industry. ·Confident carrying out cosmetic bodywork and paint repairs. ·Experience with localised paint repairs, preparation and refinishing techniques. ·Good understanding of colour matching and achieving high-quality finishes. ·Able to work independently and manage a mobile repair workload. ·Professional approach with good communication skills and attention to detail. ·Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between dealership locations.
