THE ROLE

As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair techniques.
  • Carrying out structural and cosmetic body repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Straightening vehicle bodywork using specialist repair equipment.
  • Removing and refitting body panels where required to complete repairs.
  • Working closely with MET Technicians and Paint Sprayers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Completing repairs within agreed timescales without compromising quality.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and manufacturer repair methods.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and enjoys working as part of a collaborative Bodyshop team. You will ideally have:

  • A recognised qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ, IMI, SVQ or ATA) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of modern body repair techniques and manufacturer repair methods.
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A positive attitude with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • A full UK driving licence.
