THE ROLE

As a PDI Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicles are fully prepared, inspected and maintained to the required manufacturer and dealership standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out vehicle preparation and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
  • Completing servicing, maintenance and repair work
  • Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance checks in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Identifying and rectifying any faults or defects before vehicle handover
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
  • Maintaining safe and professional working practices
  • Working effectively as part of the workshop team
  • Following manufacturer procedures and technical standards
  • Supporting the wider workshop operation where required

ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Vehicle Repair
  • Previous experience carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Experience within a professional automotive workshop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturer procedures
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Genuine commitment to delivering first-class customer service
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
