THE ROLE
As a PDI Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicles are fully prepared, inspected and maintained to the required manufacturer and dealership standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out vehicle preparation and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
- Completing servicing, maintenance and repair work
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance checks in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Identifying and rectifying any faults or defects before vehicle handover
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Maintaining safe and professional working practices
- Working effectively as part of the workshop team
- Following manufacturer procedures and technical standards
- Supporting the wider workshop operation where required
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Vehicle Repair
- Previous experience carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Experience within a professional automotive workshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturer procedures
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Genuine commitment to delivering first-class customer service
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
