You'll work closely with the wider accident repair team to ensure vehicles are correctly prepared, painted and finished in line with professional bodyshop quality standards. Key Responsibilities: ·Prepare vehicles and panels for paint, including sanding, masking, filling, priming and preparation ·Carry out paint spraying, including full and partial resprays, colour matching and blending ·Mix and apply modern automotive paint systems to the required specifications ·Complete polishing and finishing work to achieve a high-quality factory-style finish ·Inspect completed preparation and paintwork, rectifying imperfections where required ·Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians and Workshop Controllers ·Maintain spray equipment, tools and work areas in a clean and safe condition ·Follow manufacturer repair methods, quality standards and Health & Safety procedures ABOUT YOU We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Prepper / Paint Sprayer who takes pride in producing high-quality preparation and paint finishes. ·Proven experience as a Prepper, Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Automotive Paint Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop ·Strong preparation skills, including sanding, filling, priming, masking and panel preparation ·Good knowledge of modern automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques ·Experience with colour matching, blending and full/partial vehicle resprays ·Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship ·Ability to work efficiently while maintaining agreed quality standards and repair times ·Strong team player with a professional and positive attitude ·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous but not essential ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred Alternative Job Titles: Prepper / Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Automotive Paint Technician / Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Refinisher / Vehicle Painter / Bodyshop Paint Technician / Prep & Paint Technician / Automotive Refinisher / Vehicle Refinisher / Paint & Prep Technician APPLY TODAY This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Prepper / Paint Sprayer to secure a permanent position offering up to £40,000 depending on experience, a Monday to Friday working pattern and a modern professional working environment.
