Responsibilities:

  • Processing a weekly payroll, including managing new starters and leavers
  • Statutory Payments such as holiday pay, SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Dealing with Auto-enrolment Pensions
  • Corresponding with HMRC as necessary
  • Submitting RTI reports to HMRC within required timescales
  • Dealing with queries from clients, their employees, and the relevant local authorities
  • Production of Bank Payments

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess payroll experience from a previous employment
  • Experienced working in a payroll environment with ability to utilise a variety of communication channels including over the phone, email etc.
  • Can work under pressure
  • Demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Resilient, self-motivated, assertive, and confident
