We are seeking a talented and efficient Panel Beater / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a leading accident repair team. This dual-role position is ideal for a highly skilled professional who can confidently repair damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards while also accurately assessing damage and producing high-quality estimates.

About the Role

You will work within a modern, well-equipped Bodyshop using the latest tools and techniques. Your responsibilities will span both hands-on panel repair work and the production of accurate vehicle damage assessments, ensuring an efficient, seamless repair journey for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality panel repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Produce accurate damage assessments and repair estimates using industry-approved systems (e.g., Audatex).
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair environment.
  • Follow correct repair and assessment techniques to maximise productivity and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow throughout the repair process.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of repair methods, materials, and estimating standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Recognised apprenticeship and technical qualifications in Panel Beating or Vehicle Damage Assessment (NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working within a busy Bodyshop in either-or preferably both disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of modern repair techniques and estimating practices.
  • ATA accreditation and an up-to-date Audatex certificate are highly desirable.
  • Motivated, team-focused, and able to work to the highest standards.
  • Ability to deliver both productive hours and accurate assessments, contributing to bonus earning potential.
