THE ROLE

As a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician, you'll work across Panel, Paint and MET / Strip Fit operations, helping to complete accident repairs efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out panel repairs, including repairing, replacing, and refitting damaged body panels.
  • Preparing and refinishing vehicle panels, including sanding, masking, priming, colour matching, and paint application.
  • Carrying out MET / Strip Fit duties, including removing and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
  • Assessing vehicle damage and selecting appropriate repair methods across multiple disciplines.
  • Working closely with other technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure vehicles progress efficiently through the repair process.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure completed repairs meet required standards.
  • Managing allocated work effectively to meet agreed timescales and productivity expectations.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and the workshop area in a safe and professional condition.

ABOUT YOU

This role would suit an experienced Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician / Panel Beater / Paint Sprayer / MET Technician / Strip & Fit Technician / Body Repair Technician who can confidently work across multiple disciplines.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience within a professional bodyshop or accident repair environment.
  • Recognised qualification (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • ATA accreditation desirable but not essential.
  • Strong practical experience across Panel, Paint and MET / Strip Fit.
  • Good knowledge of modern vehicle repair and refinishing techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • The ability to work independently across different repair disciplines.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
