Are you an experienced Diagnostic Technician looking for an immediate start with a well-established dealership? We are currently recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician to support a busy dealership workshop in Oxford on a 1-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for consistent weekday work with no weekend commitment.

The Role:

As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for supporting workshop productivity through accurate diagnostics, servicing and repair work across a range of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults
  • Supporting workshop efficiency through accurate fault finding
  • Completing work to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Ensuring all job cards and workshop documentation are completed accurately
  • Maintaining high levels of workmanship and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Vehicle Technician
  • Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic capability
  • Ability to work independently within a busy workshop environment
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
