Hours: 40 Hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

  • PDI Technician - £36,655 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £28,000 Basic Salary)
  • Vehicle Technician - £39,730 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £31,000 Basic Salary)
  • Brand Qualified Technician - £42,445 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £34,000 Basic Salary + HVE Qualification)
  • Senior / Diagnostic Technician - £45,885 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £38,000 Basic Salary + HVE Qualification)
  • Master Technician - £51,156 Realistic Annual Earnings (Based on £43,000 Basic Salary + HVE Qualification)

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a key role within the workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
  • Completing vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
  • Carrying out repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Identifying additional work and reporting findings accurately
  • Completing workshop documentation and job cards
  • Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Delivering exceptional workmanship and first-class customer service

ABOUT YOU

We’re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry
  • Experience gained in either a franchised dealership or independent garage
  • Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills
  • Previous Audi or Volkswagen Group experience is advantageous but not essential, as full manufacturer training will be provided
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
