THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in the repair process by accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and liaising with customers, technicians, and insurers to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements
  • Prepare accurate estimates using industry-recognised estimating systems
  • Identify repair methods, replacement parts, and labour requirements
  • Liaise with customers, insurance companies, and repair teams throughout the repair process
  • Monitor repairs and authorise additional work where required
  • Ensure all estimates comply with manufacturer and insurance standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and repair records
  • Support workshop efficiency by ensuring repairs progress smoothly and effectively

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator, or Bodyshop Estimator
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and Bodyshop processes
  • Experience using estimating software such as Audatex or similar systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple repair cases simultaneously
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
  • A proactive and professional approach to work
