Due to continued expansion and sustained fleet growth, our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven National Fleet Sales Manager to further develop and expand a successful national fleet operation representing premium and emerging automotive brands. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated fleet professional with extensive industry experience, strong commercial awareness, and a proven ability to develop long‑term relationships across the leasing, broker, and corporate marketplace.
The Role
- Develop and expand national fleet sales opportunities
- Generate incremental business growth through new and existing corporate relationships
- Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with existing customers, leasing companies, and broker partners
- Identify and secure new corporate, SME, and broker opportunities nationwide
- Build and strengthen relationships with major leasing companies across the UK
- Work towards securing and developing nominated supplier status opportunities across key leasing partners
- Maintain regular contact with key accounts to maximise retention, repeat business, and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with manufacturer partners to maximise fleet opportunities
- Present professionally at boardroom and senior corporate level
- Negotiate commercial agreements and prepare competitive fleet proposals
- Produce accurate activity and performance reporting
- Ensure a highly professional and process‑driven approach to account management and business development
- Collaborate closely with internal operational teams to ensure an excellent customer journey from order through to delivery
The Ideal Candidate
- Significant experience within automotive fleet and corporate sales
- Existing relationships within the FN50 leasing company network highly desirable
- A successful track record in generating fleet volume and developing key accounts
- Strong relationship‑building and business development capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate confidently at senior corporate and boardroom level
- A highly process‑driven and commercially focused approach
- Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- Self‑motivation with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Professional presentation and strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
Working Arrangement
This position offers flexibility and does not require the successful candidate to be office‑based on a daily basis. However, regular attendance within the wider dealership and fleet operation will be expected to maintain communication, manufacturer relationships, and operational alignment.
