WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? ·Competitive Salary - Up to £45,000 DOE ·Monday to Friday Working Pattern ·08:30am - 5:00pm ·Full-Time, Permanent Position ·No Weekend Working ·Modern Bodyshop Environment ·Ongoing Training & Development ·Career Progression Opportunities ·Supportive and Experienced Team THE ROLE As an Experienced Multi-Skilled MET Technician, you will be responsible for the removal, repair, replacement and refitting of mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles. Working alongside an experienced bodyshop team, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicles are correctly stripped, repaired and rebuilt to manufacturer and industry standards, while maintaining excellent quality and efficiency throughout the repair process. Key Responsibilities: ·Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim strip and fit work on accident-damaged vehicles ·Remove and refit vehicle components including bumpers, lighting systems, panels, airbags, interior trim and associated components ·Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults associated with accident damage ·Complete accurate vehicle dismantling and rebuilding to support the repair process ·Work closely with Panel Technicians, Paint Technicians, Estimators and Workshop Controllers ·Follow manufacturer repair methods and ensure all work meets required safety and quality standards ·Use appropriate diagnostic equipment and specialist tools where required ·Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining exceptional workmanship ABOUT YOU We're looking for an experienced and versatile Multi-Skilled MET Technician with strong technical knowledge and a genuine commitment to producing high-quality accident repairs. ·Proven experience as an MET Technician within an automotive accident repair bodyshop ·Strong mechanical, electrical and trim repair knowledge ·Experience with vehicle strip and fit, component removal and refitting ·Confident working on modern vehicles and associated electrical systems ·Ability to diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions ·Good understanding of manufacturer repair methods and vehicle safety procedures ·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous ·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality ·Able to work efficiently within a busy production environment ·Reliable, conscientious and professionally minded ·Strong team player with a positive and proactive approach ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred Alternative Job Titles: Multi-Skilled MET Technician / MET Technician / Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician / Vehicle MET Technician / Automotive MET Technician / Accident Repair Technician / Bodyshop MET Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanical Technician / Vehicle Strip & Fit Technician APPLY TODAY This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled MET Technician to join a professional accident repair business offering a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience, a Monday to Friday working pattern and genuine long-term career stability.
