The Role

As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes across a variety of vehicles, ensuring every repair meets manufacturer and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing repaired vehicles and panels ready for the paint process.
  • Mixing and colour matching paints to manufacturer specifications.
  • Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat to achieve a high-quality factory finish.
  • Blending adjacent panels where required to ensure seamless repairs.
  • Carrying out polishing, rectification and final quality inspections.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised paint booth and working area.
  • Working closely with panel technicians and the wider bodyshop team to meet repair deadlines.
  • Following manufacturer repair methods and health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher who takes pride in producing exceptional work and consistently achieving high standards.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Vehicle Paint Refinisher.
  • Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong knowledge of modern paint application techniques and repair processes.
  • Experience with colour matching and paint mixing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a busy Bodyshop environment.
  • A positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred.
